In Memory of Charlie

In Memory of Charlie

Ragan was the sweetest dog. She loved to cuddle on my lap like a baby. She was an excellent mother figure to her 3 brothers. Her favorite snack was a big bowl of crushed ice. Her favorite past time was chasing squirrels and grooming her brothers. She will live forever in our hearts.

Love you baby girl.

In Memory of Charlie

Charlie was our first rescue boy.  He was a solid 72-pound American Bulldog.  He was very protective of me, his mom.  He loved to ride in the car, he liked other dogs to play with, sit on his bench to sleep and look out the window, and go on walks.  He was almost 12 years old when he passed.  I will miss him.

The first year with us, she was a quiet and proper dog….after that she was a mouthy and full of spunk pup even throughout her year long fight with heart failure. She loved with her whole body, lipomas and all! If you didn’t want to snuggle her, too bad she was sitting on your lap or laying in bed with us regardless. She helped us welcome two babies in her almost 8 years with us and she loved and protected those kids every single day. She was a huge protector, always checking the doors at night before finally going to bed herself. The house is a lot quieter without her barking for attention but we know she is pain free and protecting us from across the rainbow bridge. We love you Niller Baniller, until we meet again big girl.

In Memory of Denali

Salem was a magnificent cat. He only played fetch with a particular kind of mouse. We called this "cat and mouse". He was a lap cat and followed me everywhere I went. Since I worked at home all of his 12 years he was also my coworker and Sami best friend. We will love him forever.

In Memory of Charlotte

Ruffy was a rescue who came from a terrible abusive beginning.   It was heart warming to see this little guy go from broken to happy and safe.  He came in my life shortly after my husband passed.  I always said we saved each other.  Rest in peace my little man.

Our beloved Charlotte was as beautiful inside as out.  Pure unconditional love!
The pain of losing her to cancer at 12 years old has been excruciating. We miss her “dinner dance” before meals, her snuggles and sweet kisses.  Charlotte, you are in our hearts forever.

In Memory of Libby Ann

Chloe was my parent's dog first. She was such a comfort to them when they were sick. Then when she came to live with us, she became a comfort to me, a connection to my parents. She brought our family so much happiness and lots of laughs over the years.  We will miss and love her forever. It was so hard to say goodbye, but we know she isn't suffering anymore.  ~Kelly W.

Libby was such a good girl. She was goofy and so loving. You could always see the love in her eyes when she would look at you. Libby, you are so greatly missed. We love you so much and you will forever be in our hearts and memories.

He was 10 1/2 when we walked him to the Rainbow Bridge.  He was so funny abd quite the singer! Whitney Houston was his favorite and when he heard her on the radio, he would throw his head back and let loose! When I would leave the house, he would bark like crazy and his favorite place at home was right beside me or on top of me. I will miss him terribly but he's not in pain any longer. I'll see him again one day. ~ Stephanie A.

Sam was a gentle soul and was kind to all animals and people. He was always accepting of foster kittens, and he tolerated his grouchy, older cat-brother. Sam was shy upon meeting new people, but he quickly warmed to them and was known to stealthily appear in people's laps. Sam gave forceful head bumps and would flop onto his side for pets. After almost 15 years of being a good boy, Sam was tired from fighting heart disease, and he was peacefully euthanized on my bed. I miss you Sam, and I think of you often.

In Memory of Brandie

In Memory of Brandie

In Memory of Brandie

Of our 3 previous Westies, our Brandie was the toughest, most feisty one of the bunch.  She didn’t like other animals and not too many people.  Some days she didn’t even like us, yet she still could be our cuddly “baby girl.”  But it was also her stubborn grit that gave us 18 years with her, cancer and all for the last two.  Many thanks to Dr. Zaring for getting us to the end.

In Memory of Nova

Ra was the sweetest girl. She loved being held and would jump up on my back and shoulders and make herself at home while I worked. She was a talker and loved playing fetch and getting into things she wasn't supposed to. I miss her so terribly but smile when I remember her bringing back a fetch item (one of her favorite activities) and waiting expectantly for me to throw it again.
